When God chose to reveal Himself as a father to mankind, He didn't send a father, He sent a son. The relationship between fathers and sons is a golden thread woven throughout the Bible. A unique revelation of the New Testament is found in this passage, The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Although Jesus had lived in the eternal dimension as the Son of God, He came into a time-space dimension and lived as the Son of Man. When Jesus said, Follow Me and As the Father has sent me, so send I you, He was presenting us with a mandate to live our lives in this paradigm. Like Jesus, we are to live our lives as both sons of men and sons of God.
Jim McNally began his professional career as a high school athletic coach and teacher. In 1978 he left public education to pursue a career in full time Christian service. Since that time Jim has been a pastor, a church planter, a liaison for Intercessors for America and an international Bible teacher. Currently, Jim serves as founding pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Stafford, Virginia, planted by Jim and his sons Sean and Matt in 1993. Jim also serves as founder and president of Harvest International Ministries, which is the worldwide outreach of Harvest Christian Fellowship. Jim's ministry has been welcomed in over thirty nations on six continents. He is recognized as a mentor and/or spiritual father to a number of pastors, ministry leaders and businessmen in the United States and throughout the world.
