The Soup Sisters And Broth Brothers Cookbook by Sharon Hapton

The Soup Sisters And Broth Brothers Cookbook showcases delicious recipes from Soup Sisters volunteers and from many top celebrity chefs, including Yotam Ottolenghi, Curtis Stone, Lidia Bastianich, Rob Feenie, Susur Lee, Michael Smith and Anna Olson. Soup Sisters is a Calgary-based non-profit enterprise founded in 2009. It believes in the power of soup and the nutrition, comfort, and warmth that the gift of soup can bring. As well as working with women's shelters, Soup Sisters also operates Broth Brothers, focusing on working with youth crisis centres.

SHARON HAPTON is the Founder and CEO of Soup Sisters and the mother of two children who lives in Calgary with her 35-year-old husband. Sharon was inspired to start Soup Sisters after celebrating a significant birthday in 2009. She's been named one of Chatelaine's and CityTV's Women of the Year, as well as a Woman of Vision by Global Television, and she was recently awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by the Governor General of Canada for her efforts. SOUP SISTERS is a non-profit organization that makes, shares, and donates soup to mothers, children, and teenagers in need. Soup Sisters has expanded to over 20 communities in Canada and the United States, donating approximately 1 million soup servings to date. Summer Stock and Souper Kids, both of which involve children making soup for local youth shelters, began in 2013 and 2015.
