Spiderman Annual by John Gatehouse

Orphaned at an early age, Peter Parker lives with his Aunt and Uncle in New York. He leads the life of a normal student and 'works' as a photographer for the Daily Bugle - whilst pining after the beautiful Mary Jane Watson. On a school trip, science demonstration day, Peter is bitten by a genetically altered spider - and soon after he discovers that he has unusual powers - i.e. the strengths and agility of a spider - which he uses to fight crime. His best friends father however - who becomes the Green Goblin, will put young Parker's powers to the ultimate test!
