Spirit Level by Richy Craven
What happens when getting dead drunk causes the dead to appear?
'It's touching, intriguing and GAS! About friendship and anxiety and ghosts and being a manI enjoyed it very much' -- Marian Keyes
'Very moving and very, very funny' -- Paul Howard
'Richy Craven has crafted an engaging story about the horrible, painful, wonderful business of living - and how refreshing to find a book that's so funny and utterly relatable while navigating some very serious topics. The writing sparkles with wit from line to line, with every page hiding either a belly laugh or a sudden sharp observation of human nature - and often both. A stylish debut - can't wait for more' -- Alice Bell * author of Grave Expectations *
'An excellent black comedy about male friendship. If you want to laugh in the face of death - and do so regularly - this is the book for you' -- Damien Owens * author of Duffy and Son *
'Spirit Level is a charming, zippy and hilarious read. Richy Craven is one of the best new writers going. Pick up this book or I'll haunt ya!' -- Alison Spittle
'Spirit Level is an outrageously bingeable read. It is surprising, warm, inventive and a lot of fun' -- Louise Nealon
'Craven pulled me in with his brilliant humour, only to make me feel genuine emotion. I'll never forgive him for this' -- Seán Burke
'A brilliant depiction of modern male friendship' -- Helen Corcoran * author of Queen of Coins and Whispers *
'A brilliant debut you'll absolutely inhale!' -- Courtney Smyth * author of The Undetectables *
'One of the funniest books I've read in a long time. Buy it now and cackle your way through the summer' -- Killian Sundermann
