The Sponsor's 12 Step Manual: A Guide to Teaching and Learning the Program of AA by John Elford
The Sponsor's 12 Step Manuals are designed to help you and your sponsee understand the program of the A.A. and guide the learning process.
When you use the six-point method of teaching applied in this book you or your sponsee will gain a deeper understanding and awareness of each of the Steps.
The process of learning begins with basic memorization of the language used in the Steps and progresses to a more in-depth analysis of A.A. literature. Through self-reflection and creative thinking, you are then encouraged to not only understand the program, but also apply and evaluate your newfound knowledge to you or your sponsees own situation.
The final level of the process emphasizes the importance of carrying the message to others, (in line with Step 12) leading to a sense of community and connection with other people in the program.
This is the WORKBOOK EDITION providing space for you to keep a record of the work as you complete it.
It is important to note that to complete the manual you will need to have access to A.A.'s Big Book and The 12 Steps and 12 Traditions.
