For his extraordinary contribution to Time Inc., Neil Leifer has received the coveted Lucie Award for Excellence in Sports Photography and the Britton Hadden Lifetime Achievement Award. journalism is a type of reporting. He is also the first photographer to be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, a professional sports hall of fame. Leifer has already released sixteen books, nine of which are compilations of his sports photographs. He now works full-time as a filmmaker, producer, and director.
