E.S. Brown has lived nearly his entire life in the persistently rainy Pacific Northwest, which has provided the ideal climate for him to foster his love of science fiction and fantasy adventure. Fueled at a young age by the amazing images in the first Star Wars film, he is now fueled by an overactive imagination and caffeine - a perfect storm that has translated into many late nights researching and working on any number of fantastical tales waiting to be told. He fostered this passion by studying writing under the tutelage of New York Times best-selling author Steve Alten's Writing Coach program. His interests include a love of soccer and the martial arts, in particular tae kwon do and fencing. Elements of these arts, along with his penchant for conspiracy theories, can be found in his novel, STARPHOENIX. E.S. Brown lives in Puyallup, Washington, where he balances writing with his day job and life with his two children.
