She was formerly the adaptation manager for ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability, and climate change analyst with the Sonoran Institute. Susan Culp was formerly the project manager for Western Lands and Communities, where she managed research and policy analysis projects associated with the joint venture of the Sonoran Institute and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. She was previously executive director of the Arizona League of Conservation Voters.
