Born in 1980, Steven Gerrard made his Liverpool debut in November 1998 as a second-half substitute against Blackburn. His full debut came against Tottenham a week later. He gained his first England cap against the Ukraine in 2000 and scored his first goal for his country in September 2001, in the 5-1 win over Germany.
