Philip MacDougall, who lives just outside Chichester, has long been fascinated by the diverse nature of the city's history and the lives of its inhabitants. Currently teaching at Portsmouth College, Philip is editor of the West Sussex Archives Society Newsletter. This is his seventh book., his third for Sutton Publishing.
