Ranulf Rayner has lived all his life in Devon, a county renowned for its sporting opportunities. He now manages an agricultural estate, is chairman of the South Western Region of the British Field Sports Society and founding member of the Devon Association of Sporting Shots. Andrew Ellis is an accomplished artist whose favourite hobby is hawking, and has been able to combine both for this book. He lives in Kingsteignton, Devon.
