Streetwise by Claire Derry
The first of our new eyelevel club material; which aims to reach children outside the church. Streetwise is especially designed for use with unchurched children aged 5-11 in a midweek club or Saturday special event. The children take a trip down Luke Street to meet Jesus and the people he met. 8 easy-to-use sessions which require very little preparation; good news for busy leaders. There's extra material to help enable leaders to talk about Jesus to unchurched children in a small group setting, plus help on how to run these clubs. Streetwise is based on our much loved Luke Street video, which is now also available in DVD format and complements the Streetwise sessions.
Julie Sharp is the Head of English at Putney High School for Girls and runs SU's Spot the Difference holiday in Bakewell. Claire Derry is a primary school teacher, leader on SU's Abersoch beach mission, runs a club for children outside the church, and is co-ordinator of children's work for her church.
