The Study of Liturgy and Worship
Summary
The feel-good place to buy books

The Study of Liturgy and Worship by Ben Gordon-Taylor
This is a textbook with an international slant, blending established and young experts, and covering a much wider, and less historical, focus than The Study of Liturgy. This reflects the way the subject has changed, from one based upon a historical narrative to one drawing additionally on the social sciences. This new Guide draws upon the valuable approach contained in the old book - short accessible chapters by leading liturgical scholars, which provide sufficient introduction to a topic and advice on further research.
Benjamin Gordon-Taylor is an established author. He is now Director of the Mirfield Liturgical Institute, and heads the MA course in Liturgy of Sheffield University. He is Honorary Visitng Lecturer at Sheffield and at Leeds Universities and is Solway Fellow at University College, Durham. Juliette Day is University Lecturer in Church History at the University of Helsinki, and Senior Research Fellow in Liturgy at Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford.
