He also works as a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of adolescents and adults with dual diagnoses. The Pagliaros consult widely in the field of substance abuse and teach several advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in research design and clinical practice, focusing on the assessment and treatment of substance use across the lifespan.
