Gido, Jack: - Jack Gido was most recently Director of Economic and Workforce Development and Director of PennTAP, the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program, at Penn State University. In this position, he directed the program, obtained funding, and provided leadership for a statewide staff who provide technology assistance and workforce development to Pennsylvania business and industry to improve their global competitiveness. Jack has 20 years of industrial management experience, including the management of productivity improvement and technology development projects. He holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. Jack is a member of the Project Management Institute and the former president of the Upstate New York Chapter, and he teaches courses on project management.
