Summer Shadows in Grondere by Kathryn Adams
Following their harrowing winter season, Lucy Wilson and Poppy Smythe are looking forward to an active but peaceful summer, venturing beyond Grondere and exploring other parts of Switzerland. They get no further than the Bernese Alps before summer turns out to be more eventful than anticipated. Murder and intrigue envelop Lucy and Poppy once again and the Swiss police are left with a confusion of Polish and British connections to disentangle. From the vine-covered valleys, to the highest peaks, readers will enjoy exploring the Alps with Lucy and her friends as they get to see much more of Switzerland in summer than expected.
