A Sun Bear in Trouble by Martin D Hill
This story addresses the issues that Sun Bears face in a gentle and careful manner that children can relate to. Sun Bears share the same habitat as Sumatran Tigers, and both, among many other species are endangered in that natural habitat. I think this story will leave every reader feeling a love and respect for the funny, cheeky, beautiful Sun Bear.
If you are considering buying this book for children, please do not hesitate to do soIt is simply informative and an endearing story for youngsters with beautiful illustrations. It aims to bring the plight of the Sun Bears to life and gain a child's interest, hopefully the start of their understanding of endangered species, in a truly delightful way. My granddaughter Mollie 7 reads it to her sister Izzy 4 and they love it and Mollie tries to help Izzy understand. The information at the back of the book is a great addition. Highly recommended.
