Lucy Cornell is a home economist who lives in the West Country in the United Kingdom. As well as being a cookery expert, she is also a writer and journalist specializing in all culinary matters. Her particular interest is healthy eating and nutrition, for which she has written prolifically. Once a Londoner, living in an apartment, she is has now moved to the countryside and become very interested in home preserving, self-sufficiency and backyard farming. She is now lucky enough to be able to grow her own fruit and vegetables and therefore test her recipes with her own produce.
