In recent times Elys has been awarded 2nd place in the Macmillan Prize, was a finalist in Waterstones Picture This and was shortlisted for the AOI Awards. Elys has been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the Roald Dahl Funny Prize.
