Since 1984, David Okum has worked as a freelance artist and illustrator, and his comic work has been published since 1992, when he had a tale published in an Antarctic Press anthology called Ninja High School. Since then, he's appeared in two more Antarctic Press anthologies as well as other small-press comic books. Guardians of Order has published his poetry and artwork in six volumes. He's also the author and illustrator of IMPACT/North Light Books' Manga Madness, Superhero Madness, Manga Monster Madness, Manga Fantasy Madness, and Manga Martial Arts. David has also illustrated two Timeline graphic novels for Scholastic. David is a high school art teacher who studied fine art and history at university.
