The Superior Person's Book of Words by Peter Bowler

The intent of Going Home is to create--in a single volume--the most illuminating view possible on the subject of life after death.

To do this, author Keith A. Haslem studied the accounts of twenty-eight individuals who have published descriptions of their visit to a world of spirits during a near-death or out-of-body experience. Haslem draws primarily from six of the most illuminating of these accounts, including Return from Tomorrow and Embraced by the Light. Haslem also draws from eight noted NDE researchers, including Dr. Raymond A. Moody Jr., author of Life After Life and Dr. Elisabeth K bler-Ross, author of On Death and Dying.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the author also shares the perspective of his faith when it is applicable.

Going Home addresses eighty-four questions, one per chapter, related to mortal life and life after death, including

What does the spirit world look like?

Will we be reunited with family and friends (and pets) when we die?

Why do some die so young?

Do we all have guardian angels?

What is the purpose of trials and hardships?

What is the purpose of life?

The corroborating experiences and perspectives quoted in Going Home reveal a fascinating view of life after death, offer comfort to those who have loved and lost, and give peace of mind to those close to graduation from mortality.
