"This is an exciting new book for young professionals entering the workforceIt is informational, and I recommend it to anyone graduating college, especially human development majors."
Savannah Camp, Student at California State University San Marcos
"It provided me with specific real-life examples. It provided me unique perspectives that I did not consider, hence providing me with relief and refreshing alternatives. It is comforting to be reminded that the challenges I am encountering have solutions and that I am not alone."
Johnny Fuentes, Student at California State University San Marcos
"A great guide for students entering the workforce after college."
Jessica Valois, Student at California State University San Marcos
"This book was honestly a very beneficial read. It was very insightful, and I believe every college student should read this before, during, and after their college journey. For any student who feels stuck or needs any tips, this is a must-have! Reading this book prior to starting college will influence and teach you so many things to help you prepare so that you don't have to struggle through certain experiences on your own. Also, it helped me understand that I am not alone, my struggles are normal, and to be proud of and embrace my degree. As a student, it is very easy to carry the pressure of not knowing your next move, and when we do not know, we may devalue ourselves or our career/degree simply because we experienced certain challenges without realizing that it is all normal! Had I had this book available to me my freshman year, my college journey would have been a lot smoother. This book is they key to success for a college student!"
Laura Nejera-Rodarte, Student at California State University San Marcos
"The manuscript has helped me understand myself and answer questions that I have about my career. For example, Chapter 8, 'Knowing your Weaknesses,' gives us the opportunity to evaluate our own lives and to focus on our strengths and past challenges that we have been through. My self-esteem is my personal weakness, because in the past I had too many people telling me that I would never graduate from college because I was a single mom. That weakness is not affecting my success anymore as I have improved my skills to deal with those people and my self-esteem."
Amelia Fuentes, Student at California State University San Marcos
