
Robert Leonard, a Dublin native, writes about the scientific and cultural contexts of twentieth-century economics and social sciences. His work has published in the Economic Journal, History of Political Economy, and Isis, among other journals in economics and scientific history. His 1995 essay in the Journal of Economic Literature, which inspired this book, won the History of Economics Society's Best Article Award. Leonard is an Economics Professor at Université du Québec à Montréal.
