Sweet Addiction (Large Print) by J Daniels
From NY Times and USA Today bestselling author J. Daniels.
Wedding hookups never amount to anything. Those who partake in this wicked little activity know the rules. Get in. Get laid. Get out. There's no expectation of a relationship. It is what it is.
Dylan Sparks knows the rules. She's familiar with the protocol. And she engages in the best sex of her life with a complete stranger at her ex-boyfriend's wedding. Reese Carroll doesn't care about the rules. He wants more than just one night with Dylan. And Dylan finds him too addicting to pass up.
Sweet Addiction is the story of one woman's struggle to keep things casual and one man's desire to never let her go.
Warning: This audiobook is recommended for listeners over the age of 18 due to strong language and explicit sexual content.
Daniels was born into a Christian family and raised as a Christian. He was taught to rely on God for everything and to be wary of the Devil's tactics since he was shielded from the secular world. With no real life experience, his dream evolved into a quest for Solomon's wisdom. He joined a ministry at the age of 21 yet began his lifetime ambition to accomplish the Lord's work, naive and determined to live out the faith he held so dear. He had no idea that three years later, his Christian world would come crashing down around him as he realized the unthinkable: his religion was wrong.
He delved into scripture and Christian history with zeal, completely consumed by Christ. His sincere desire for information and solutions to life's concerns led him behind the scenes of his faith, eventually, and maybe unavoidably, to the most profound degree of insight he had ever experienced. J. was convinced of the truth. Daniels took a huge risk by abandoning his faith and embracing science and reason, much to the surprise and disgust of his Christian colleagues.
Throughout the numerous years he had spent attempting to navigate life with the inaccurate compass of religion, he became enraged. Daniels embarked on a new mission after his early years had been wasted on false hope and senseless misery. He would go on a mission to bring about a new generation of freedom warriors who are unafraid of golden calves and entrenched orthodoxy, using his new-found wisdom of Solomon. Daniels now fantasizes of a society free of rife, bronze-age superstition and religious domination.
The Christian establishment now faces a new foe, one who has mastered the skills of argument and debate, as well as firsthand knowledge of how Christians think and what they fear. Daniels has vowed to spend the rest of his life destroying Christianity, and he intends to accomplish so by murdering Jesus Christ.
