Gattis, Ryan: - Ryan Gattis is a writer, curator, and creative writing professor at Chapman University. He holds an MA in Fiction Writing from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, and is the author of novels Roo Kickkick & the Big Bad Blimp and Kung Fu High School, which was acquired by The Weinstein Company. In 2012, he wrote and curated the story-driven art show The Art of Kung Fu: Myths and Legends and works closely with street art collective UGLAR (uglarworks.com) as Narrative Director on various public art projects. Raised in Colorado, he lives in Downtown Los Angeles.
