Sam Kashner is the author of four nonfiction works and one novel, Sinatraland, including the biography When I Was Cool: My Life at the Jack Kerouac School. As a contributing editor for Vanity Fair, he has written extensively. Nancy Schoenberger is the author of Dangerous Muse: Lady Caroline Blackwood's Biography, Wayne and Ford: Films, Friendship, and the Shaping of an American Hero, and three prize-winning poetry collections. She directs the Creative Writing Program at The College of William & Mary, where she teaches.
