The Ghosts, by Antonia Barber, was nominated for the Carnegie Prize and adapted into the film The Incredible Blunden. The Mousehole Cat was a Smarties Prize finalist, a winner of the 1990 British Book Award, and a Commended winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal in 1991; it was eventually adapted into an animated film. She resides in Cornwall, England.
