Charles Gilman lives in Philadelphia. This is his first book for young readers. Eugene Smith has illustrated several titles for Quirk, including Sense and Sensiblity and Sea Monsters, The Captain Jack Sparrow Handbook, and Secret Lives of the Supreme Court.
