Tales from the End Cottage by Eileen Bell
Mrs Apple lives in the End Cottage with all her pets - her two cats, George and Shoosh, and the Pekinese, Tooty. They have a peaceful life, but sometimes unusual things happen which liven up the day. But the most exciting day is when the handsome black dog turns up seeking refuge.
