Angela Lerwill was born in West Sussex in 1958 and grew up on her family's farm near Wisborough Green in West Sussex. Her lineage is purely agricultural with even a property called Lerwill Farm in north Devon.
After attending Harper Adams, a leading agricultural college, she travelled around Australia and New Zealand before establishing her own market research business.
Tales of a Sussex Family Farm was largely written during the Covid-19 lockdown and an ever urging need to record her parents' extraordinarily hard life, warts and all.
Angela now lives in the Cotswolds with her husband, central heating and mains water. Read her book and see the relevance of this last comment.
