Justin Lee is the founder and executive director of The Gay Christian Network (GCN), a nonprofit, interdenominational organization dedicated to increasing discussion between gays and Christians and providing assistance to those on both sides dealing with similar challenges. Justin, a devout Christian from a conservative evangelical family, thought he understood everything there was to know about the Christian attitude to homosexuality--until unforeseen events turned his world upside down and pushed him to question everything he thought he knew. His group now works with individuals, families, and churches to prevent people from being torn apart by the dispute. Justin's work has received national notice and acclaim from gays and Christians from all walks of life. Dr. Phil, Anderson Cooper 360, the Associated Press, and a front page article in The New York Times have all highlighted him in print, radio, and television.
He is the co-host of the popular long-running podcast GCN Radio and the director of the 2009 documentary Through My Eyes about the debate's influence on young Christians. Justin resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
