Tassonomica by Giovanni Marco Chiri
Tassonomica faces how the need for understanding nature has historically shaped our conception of garden. From their very origin, gardens have always beared an ideal tension between knowledge and pleasure, resulting in the archetypes of the botanical garden and the garden of pleasure. Botanical Garden was born, specifically, as an actual eristic instrument to order, classify and preserve living beings by means of spatial separation. Even if humanity had underwent a journey of dematerialization of knowledge, still space is the most powerful instrument for the comprehension of reality.
