Sally Moomaw, EdD, is an assistant professor of early childhood education at the University of Cincinnati. She is the author of eight other Redleaf Press books and a frequent presenter at workshops and conferences across the country. Much of Dr. Moomaw's research and teaching is in the area of STEM education.


Sally Moomaw: Sally Moomaw, EdD, is an assistant professor in early childhood education and special education at the University of Cincinnati. Previously, she was a preschool teacher and the director for professional development at the University of Cincinnati's Arlitt Center. Dr. Moomaw holds a bachelor's degree in music, a master's in child development, and a doctorate in special education from the University of Cincinnati. She is the co-author of eleven books on early childhood education, including the More Than...series and Lessons from Turtle Island. She also designed a Mathematics Tool Kit for the Ohio Department of Education to help teachers implement state content standards and has presented numerous workshops for colleges, school districts, and conferences throughout the country.
