Carol Ann Duffy is an acclaimed poet and playwright who has also written many picture books. Her collection of potery Rapture was the winner of the 2006 T.S. Elliot Prize. Carol Ann lives in Manchester, England. She has also written The Gift for Barefoot Books. Nicoletta Ceccoki has been featured several times at the Bologna Children's Book Festival, and won the prestigious Anderson prize for the best Italian children's book illustrator in 2001 and 2006.
