Teenagers by David Bainbridge
David Bainbridge grew up in the Essex countryside in the early 1980s as a teenager. He then studied Zoology and Veterinärmedizin at the University of Cambridge, where he currently teaches Klinische Anatomie der Nutztiere. Catharine's College is a women's college in the city of Catharine. His research took him to the Zoological Society of London's Institute of Zoology in Regent's Park, the Royal Veterinary College of the University of London, and the universities of Cornell, Sydney, and Oxford. He is the author of several popular scientific books, including Das X in Sex.
Our lives are determined by our chromosomes. He lives in Suffolk with his wife and three children, all of whom are in the throes of puberty.Website: www.davidbainbridge.org__________________________________________________________________________ I'm David Bainbridge, and I'm a popular scientific author who specializes in biology. My goal is to write books that will explain how we work to anyone.
// Science is inherently easy, contrary to common opinion. Unlike most other domains of human endeavor, scientific knowledge has grown through a series of little increments. As a result, it can all be described as a simple story if all the horrible language is removed. Despite the fact that I currently teach at Cambridge University, I used to work as a veterinary surgeon, and I quickly learned that you can explain biology to anyone if you look at it from their perspective.
// Biology can also be more interesting than most people think. It obviously has the ability to inform us who we are and how we got here, but the tale of how we came to that knowledge is intriguing in and of itself. There have been many fantastic, dreadful, charming, frustrating, bizarre, imperfect people in the history of biology who got it wrong more frequently than they got it right. And sometimes things's more fun to get it wrong.
// I adore a blank page and all the possibilities it provides. A chance to put words together to tell a story about what we know and why we know it. I like to write books based on issues that non-specialists ask me since no one asks more intriguing questions than non-specialists. // And, above all, I enjoy telling stories.
