Johnstone, Janet: - Jan Johnstone is a proud Salopian who has lived in Shropshire all her life. She has been writing for as long as she can remember and has had numerous articles published in both historical and general interest magazines, both at home and abroad. Social history is a particular interest, as are collectables and antiques, and she also writes short stories which have been accepted for publication. Her book 'Oswestry and Whitchurch in the Great War', part of Pen & Sword's 'Your Towns and Cities in the Great War' series, was released in 2016.
