1952. First Printing. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. Pink paper covered boards with black cloth spine; silver lettering. Foreword by A P Herbert. Includes B&W illustrations throughout. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Slight gutter cracking. Binding is firm. Pages have some slight stains and marks, but text remains clear. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed with minor scratches and scuffs. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and peeling to corners; spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Joints worn too with splits; netting visible. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. A few liquid droplet marks. Boards moderately dust stained overall. Book has moderate forward lean. Silver lettering dulled.
