In 1997, she campaigned a cream and white Persian to the 2nd Best Cat in Championship in CFA (Cat Fanciers Association).

Joyce L. White has been writing about cats for over 20 years, during which time she has written for most Canadian and US cat publications. She began writing for I Love Cats in the mid-1980s and became contributing editor in 2001. Joyce has published five non-fiction books and two fiction.
