The Fire Child by Sk Tremayne
When Rachel marries David, everything seems to fall into place. The move to beautiful Cornwall brings wealth, love, and an affectionate stepson, Jamie. But then Jamies behaviour changes. He makes disturbing predictions, claiming to be haunted by his late mother Davids previous wife. As Rachel starts digging into the past, she begins to grow suspicious of her husband. What exactly happened to cause his ex-wifes untimely death? Rachel begins to fear there might be truth in Jamies words: You will be dead by Christmas.
