He is the author of two Heidegger volumes and several papers on continental philosophy, political philosophy, and race theory. He is the editor of Race and the co-editor of The Concept of Race (with Tommy Lott). Re-reading Levinas and Emmanuel Levinas: Fundamental Philosophical Works are two of his publications published by Indiana University Press. At the University of Memphis, Sybol Cook is a Provost's Distinguished Pre-Doctoral Fellow.
