Judy Horacek is an Australian cartoonist and illustrator. Her first picture book was Where is the Green Sheep? with Mem Fox, which was the winner of the 2005 Children's Book Council Award for Book of the Year - Early Childhood. She wrote and illustrated her second picture book, called Growl, released in April. Judy has been widely published both in Australia and overseas, and her work appears weekly in the Australian and the Canberra Times. Six collections of her cartoons have been published: Life on the Edge Unrequited Love, Woman with Altitude, Lost in Space and If the Fruit Fits. Major retrospective exhibitions of her work have been held at the National Gallery of Victoria, the National Museum of Australia in Canberra.
