Kimberly Drew is a writer, curator, and activist who lives in New York City. Drew graduated with a B.A. Smith College, where she majored in Art History and African-American Studies. She got her start in the art world as an intern at The Studio Museum in Harlem's Director's Office. Her experience there sparked her interest in social media, prompting her to launch the Tumblr blog Black Modern Art.

Drew has written for Vogue, Glamour, W, Teen Vogue, and Lenny Letter, as well as executing Instagram takeovers for Prada, The White House, and Instagram. Drew recently resigned The Met's position as Social Media Manager. Black Futures, which she is co-editing with Jenna Wortham, will be released in 2020. Ashley Lukashevsky is a Los Angeles-based illustrator and visual artist who was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ashley employs drawing and art to bolster social movements fighting systemic racism, misogyny, and anti-immigrant policies. She wants to deconstruct oppressive structures by first imagining and creating a world without them. Refinery29, The Washington Post, Planned Parenthood, Girls Who Code, GOOD Magazine, Brooklyn Magazine, ACLU, Red Bull, Snapchat, Air Jordan, and Logo TV are just a few of her clients.
