Steve Thomas had a ambition of becoming an novelist, but he knew it was nearly impossible. At a young age, he was diagnosed with dyslexia and was placed in special education classes to learn how to read and write. He gradually overcome his impairment and graduated from middle school with honors. He continued with his regular coursework and graduated from high school. He sat down and began writing with the help of his parents, family, and friends. His first novel was published three years later.
