Claude Anet (eigentlich Jean Schopfer) wurde am 28.05.1868 in Morges in der Schweiz geboren und starb am 09.01.1931 in Paris. Anet studierte Philosophie an der Sorbonne. Er arbeitete ab 1888 als Vertreter einer amerikanischen Firma in Paris. Er reiste zu Rad und mit dem Auto durch Italien, Persien und Ruü¾™¦¼land und schrieb darü¾˜¶˜¼ber Reiseberichte. Die russische Revolution erlebte er als Augenzeuge mit.
