Thy Kingdom Come by Randall H Balmer
Examines a generation of evangelical leaders who have hijacked the Christian faith on behalf of the Republican Party. Combining ethnographic research, theological reflections and historical context, this book laments the trivialization of Christianity - and offers a cry for liberal Christians to reclaim the noble traditions of their faith.
