Ed has been showing people how to fix their homes and cars in books and magazines for over a decade. His illustrations have appeared in such magazines as Popular Mechanics, Home Mechanix, Popular Science, Field and Stream, and Mother Earth News. he illustrated a CD-ROM on home improvement for Microsoft. In addition, he has illustrated the weekly Home Clinic and Home Improvement columns for The New York Times since 1982
