This is a book of poems that is designed to share my experiences growing up as a child. This experience directly affects the way I live my life today and how I raised both son's during 1st marriage.

I was born September 27, 1959 in Dallas Texas to Alice Faye Manning who soon after became a single parent of 3 children. 2 boys and a girl. After graduating from High School and working odd jobs here and there, I decided to join the United States Air Force in 1980. As a member of the USAF for 12 years and 8 years in the Texas Air National Guard, I was married to the 1st wife for 23 years where we finally divorced after have two son's Jasper E. Manning II and Jaelen Earl Manning. Later I remarried Sophia L. Manning where I've been married for 6 years as of September 2, 2019. I am currently an educator and small business owner and have been writing for the past 27 years. I've been published before and have managed to amass a little over 800 poems that I would like to share with world based on our society, the negatives and the positives, love and drama, appreciation and religion. My motto in life is to Live your life today, so that tomorrow you're not ashamed of what you did yesterday., and like I try to empress upon my students and referees, always leave things better than you found them.
