Margot Reich was born in Berlin in 1924. While still very young, the Nazis savagely interrupted the innocence and happiness of her childhood. However, just two weeks before the outbreak of war, she was one of a tiny minority of Jewish children who were able to escape to England with Youth Aliyah. Tragically her family was less fortunate and perished in Poland in the Holocaust.Margot trained as a kindergarten teacher and for many years derived great satisfaction from working with children.She has lectured on Aspects of Childs Play at Middlesex HospitalSome inner compulsion drove her to start writing poetry in the year 2000 and this superb collection of her poems unmasks the thoughts of a very special lady.She possesses a vast collection of the Artwork of Trees through the Seasons and other modelsShe lives in London with her husband Ben, a Psychologist and founder member of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Dr Ben Reich is also an author having written a book on Aspects of Psychology.They have one daughter who, you will not be surprised to learn, also has a Doctorate in Psychology and practices as a Psycho Therapist. She is currently head of a stroke unit in Hertfordshire.
