1990 was a positive and fateful year for Germany. The world around Germany changed as well. New states were founded, others were dissolved and revolutions bore their fruit. For Krause, it was a year that changed everything in his life. He went on an adventure trip to Sri Lanka and found his love of dogs. From this point on, Krause's life changed drastically and turned into something completely different. However, it also introduced certain dark elements. A life-threatening disease was only one of several strokes of fate. All these changes started with a small dog, who Krause brought home from Ceylon. 8 years later he turned his passion for dogs into a job, which he still carries out successfully to this day. All that was possible because of what happened one day in March of 1990 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. In this book, he finally gets to tell this very personal story.

M. Krause, lives in Cologne. Krause has been a dog service provider for over 20 years and runs a successful company. Since 2020 he has been a book author and writes non-fiction books, but also novels and stories. His interests are wide-ranging. The writing just flows out of me, the thought arises in my head and develops as I write. His professional portfolio is just as versatile as writing: from studying for a teacher's degree, to many years of working in the sales department of a computer company, to his own company in the dog sector, there is a lot to be said for it. For me, writing means finally capturing what may move me for years and taking the reader into a world that might be alien to him.
