Michael Rosen is one of the most popular writer of picture books for children. His titles include We’re Going on a Bear Hunt (winner of the Smarties Book Prize), Michael Rosen's Sad Book and Totally Wonderful Miss Plumberry. The presenter of "Word of Mouth" on BBC Radio 4, he received the Eleanor Farjeon Award for services to children’s literature in 1997. He lives in London. Kevin Waldron is a young Irish illustrator. His first picture book Mr Peek and the Misunderstanding at the Zoo was published by Templar, shortlisted for the "Read It Again!" Cambridgeshire Children’s Picture Book Award, and got great reviews: "Interesting and unusual" - Daily Telegraph; "An extraordinarily cheering read for blunderers of all ages and is illustrated with energetic gaiety and humour" - Observer. He divides his time between New York and London.
